Dear Senator,

You will soon vote on H.R. 2577, the Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2016. On behalf of the more than one million supporters and members of the Council for Citizens Against Government Waste (CCAGW), I urge you to support Sen. John Cornyn’s (R-Texas) amendment to provide funding for research and prevention of the Zika virus. The amendment provides $1.1 billion in emergency funding and offsets this package by rescinding $1.2 billion from the Obamacare Prevention and Public Health Fund.

All votes on H.R. 2577 will be among those considered in CCAGW’s 2016 Congressional Ratings.
