The Senate Finance Committee will soon finish its proceedings on the Chairman’s Mark of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. On behalf of the more than one million members and supporters of the Council for Citizens Against Government Waste (CCAGW), I urge you to support this legislation.
The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act presents an historic opportunity to fix our nation’s broken tax code and unleash the economic potential of the American people. From a reduction in the corporate rate to 20 percent which will dramatically enhance America’s global competitiveness, to a simplification of the tax code, the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act delivers comprehensive, pro-growth tax reform.
It is time to strengthen the economy and put more money back into the pockets of every American. All votes on the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act will be among those considered for CCAGW’s 2017 Congressional Ratings.
