CCAGW Urges House of Representatives to Support Amendments the H.R. 4394

Dear Representative,
You will soon be considering H.R. 4394, the Energy and Water Development and Related Agencies Appropriations for Fiscal Year (FY) 2024. On behalf of the more than one million members and supporters of the Council for Citizens Against Government Waste (CCAGW), I urge you to support the following amendments to H.R. 4394.
Amendment #3, offered by Rep. Ralph Norman (R-S.C.), which prohibits funding for the rule titled “Energy Conservation Program: Energy Conservation Standards for Manufactured Housing.”
Amendment #5, offered by Reps. Ralph Norman (R-S.C.) and Andy Ogles (R-Tenn.), which prohibits funding for the American Climate Corps.
Amendment #8, offered by Rep. Matt Rosendale (R-Mont.), which reduces appropriations in the bill by $1.5 billion to match FY 2022 levels.
Amendment #16, offered by Rep. Rosendale (R-Mont.), which reduces funds appropriated to the Army Corps of Engineers by $620 million to match FY22 levels.
Amendment #18, offered by Reps. Chip Roy (R-Texas), Josh Brecheen (R-Okla.), and Kat Cammack (R-Fla.), which prohibits funds from being used to implement any of President Biden’s climate change executive order.
Amendment #38, offered by Rep. Kat Cammack (R-Fla.), which prohibits funds from being used to finalize any rule or regulation that has resulted in or is likely to result in an annual effect on the economy of $100 million or more.
Amendment #53, offered by Rep. Ralph Norman (R-S.C.), which eliminates funding for the Denali Commission.
Amendment #69, offered by Rep. Harriet Hageman (R-Wyo.), which prohibits the use of funds to finalize, implement, or enforce rulemaking pertaining to energy conservation standards for consumer water heaters.
Amendment #78, offered by Rep. Scott Perry (R-Pa.), which reduces the funding level in the bill for the Appalachian Regional Commission to FY19 levels.
Amendment #95, offered by Rep. Scott Perry (R-Pa.), which reduces the funding level for the Delta Regional Commission to the FY19 levels.
Amendment #97, offered by Rep. Scott Perry (R-Pa.), which reduces funding for the Denali Commission to FY19 levels.
Amendment #100, offered by Rep. Scott Perry (R-Pa.), which reduces funding for the Southeast Crescent Regional Commission to FY19 levels.
Amendment #105, offered by Rep. Scott Perry (R-Pa.), which reduces funding for the Northern Border Regional Commission to FY19 levels.
Amendment #106, offered by Rep. Scott Perry (R-Pa.), which cuts funding for the Great Lakes Authority in half.
Amendment #108, offered by Rep. Scott Perry (R-Pa.), which cuts funding for the Southwest Border Regional Commission in half.
