CAGW Sends Critical Waste Issues for the 117th Congress to the Senate

Letters to Officials

March 24, 2021

U.S. Senate
Washington, D.C. 20510

Dear Senator,

I am writing to share with you Citizens Against Government Waste’s (CAGW) Critical Waste Issues for the 117th Congress, which details 17 policy areas requiring immediate attention to eliminate runaway spending and help create a more effective and efficient government.  These proposals are essential after the budget deficit hit a record $3.1 trillion in 2020 and the national debt now exceeds $28 trillion.

The report includes recommendations on budget and regulatory reform, entitlements, healthcare, housing, privacy, technology, and telecommunications, among other issues that provide a convenient roadmap for the bold action required to restore fiscal sanity and help prevent a financial disaster.  Critical Waste Issues for the 117th Congress can be found online at http://www.cagw.org/reporting/critical-waste-117.

If you have any questions or would like a printed copy of Critical Waste Issues for the 117th Congress, please contact Cody Leach at cleach@cagw.org.

Sincerely,

Tom Schatz
President, CAGW
