Spencer Chretien

Spencer Chretien serves as State Policy & Government Affairs Manager at Citizens Against Government Waste, a private, non-partisan, non-profit organization representing more than one million members and supporters nationwide. Prior to joining CAGW, he worked for the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), interacting with free-market-oriented members of state legislatures. Spencer works to identify and eliminate waste, fraud, abuse, and mismanagement in government at the state and local level.

A native of Northern Virginia and a graduate of the College of William and Mary, Spencer is also a professional musician, an avid news consumer and political junkie, as well as a dedicated fan of DC sports.
